In Tite Kubo's official color art, Rangiku's hair color is blonde but it was made orange for the original anime. In the new "TYBW" anime, Kubo involved and made sure it was the correct color.

@vtuberblamee Hmmm that’s hard. I guess what made me like the idea of a male in a kimono was inspired by Yusuke from Persona 5 during the Firework Festival! My sandals were inspired by Kisuke Urahara from Bleach! And lastly Silver Hair has always been badass like on Sephiroth and Gin Ichimaru!
