as I said earlier in the thread, color tangents/bleed is a big problem in these books (and 90s comics in general imo). the artist/colorist fails to separate elements/layers effectively for ease of interpretation, which isn't helped when every character has the same color scheme.

How I do shading: just with full black, and changing opacity. Doing multiple layers for the deeper shading (shadow on shadow parts).

I usually finish with highlights and ‘light edges’. I just add shading what feels right, and looks ok. I’m not going for realistic anyway…

One of the pleasures of running a #DnD game where everything is pretty much homemade is that I get to make little tokens for my players to brutally murder.
