Death Scyther is I think a Monsters-exclusive creature. Actually, I'm not sure it exists outside of Caravan Heart, but it has a really nice color palette and really inventive eyes. Plus, I like the combination of soft and threatening design elements here.

Back to Slimes! Healslimes are great, but I think the Mendslime has my favorite color palette for them. It's also interesting to me that the Man o' War enemy uses a recolor of this design, despite not really being otherwise a member of the Healslime family.

I, like most Fugo simps, like his manga colour palette better than the anime’s but this edit is what made me realize why— red clashes with purple. The red suit shows how Fugo distances himself from Purple Haze in such a great and subtle way🍓
Next, @GirlyWolfPup's Yumi. While her design has evolved over time, it is a change I am all for. Her palette gives a very "soft and sweet" feeling. Her bionic hand adds complexity to the design while not being too complicated. It fits like a glove.

possible Helluva/Hazbin sonas! the big ol dude is based off of Musk Deer, Mexican Wolf, and Bleeding Tooth Fungus while the lil cutie is based off of a half-furless half-furred Donskoy!

Once all of the elements were in place, I began adding color and working out some textures with a hard brush. To fit the theme, I lean into a red and pink palette.

Tattered Apparition, my second card from the new MTG set: Dominaria United. I wanted to keep the palette subtle, so I could use the shapes and backlighting to add interest, and keep things clearly readable and defined, even for a night scene.
