Trigger has one of if not the best artstyle my eyes had the pleasure of seeing. It's extremely simple but effective and leaves the staff so much room for expressiveness, it can go from really badass and sharp to very charming and adorable.

Their works need a fucking museum.

there's a right way to do overdesigned spikey mega evolutions btw

even though Garchomp has a lot more literal edge added on top through additional spikes, the lessser, other parts of the design morph around that concept (round -> sharp pointed jaw, indent in the back fin)
