This was from before the comic had started (2007???). At one poont i wondered if making Geno blue would be too weird, but something didn't sit right with him NOT being blue. It's still weird that he is, but, but that became part of his design charm.

Also, what exactly do you mean by the structure of the plushie? Because if you mean the pose, that's what all Youtooz Sit Plushies look like. Arms in front and legs to the side. So, if that's what you mean, they did just trace the Schlatt plush, which is what Youtooz did.
