This won't help but all I do is draw three oval smaller and smaller and then color with white then whatever eye color they have (if they don't have eye color I just make one up that suits them) and for the pupils I make it a darker color from there eye color 1/2

I'm bad at this lol!! I'm still working on incorporating colour into my compositions earlier in the process. I usually don't think about it seriously until I've finished the inks, but then I run into issues. For example, the final image is weighted w/ darker colours on the left.

I may! The main thing I have noticed with PLA’s style is that they have a shade darker of the skintone on parts of the outline between the eye whites and the skin and a slight “side iris” shine. But even then, thats only a few characters. Its a little of a mixed bag ;;;;
