A quick sketch fanart for @SmightLP's first Arcade Pit of 2021. Someone made a comment about Calvin and Hobbes and this came to my mind.
Some quick thoughts on character design from when I was considering teaching the subject. Would still love to at some point if possible.
Not necessarily a tutorial, but things I try to keep in mind. Everyone has a different method, usually dictated by career choice.
