Into my heart an air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those? (A.E Housman)

day 20:

Many tread in awe when they first arrive in Panthil. Isolated from the main continent it developed a unique subculture shaped by the oceans and volcanic lands. Nearly bursting at the seams its buildings are stacked high upon the cliffs, ever rising.

You were right - Nine Parchments is totally a blast (full of mishaps and blinks out the cliffs).

day 17:

The tower Avon Maan sitting remotely on the cliffs surrounding Panthil has become one of the city’s landmarks. The ornamental starglass used on the facade is typical for temples of the early years after Aman’s ascent.

Day 3 - Prompt: Bait

Decided to throw in some Greek mythology and draw a siren! They would bait sailors into steering their boats into the cliffs by singing beautiful songs :)

Piece I made back in 2014, has a lot of issues with it but I still like the cliffs and some things about it : )

Just back from a lovely and inspiring holiday in Pembrokeshire staying in the lovely coastal village of Trefin. On top of the rocky cliffs of the coast. Looking down from the Jagged cliff here are some spontaneous sketches to get to know Pembrokeshire

After yesterday's rain, it's been another glorious day today. Colour studies, beach hut and cliffs... The gannets and eiders have been fishing in the sunshine.
