One reason why I find Aika so relatable is how she used to emulate others, primarily Alicia, without much concern for forging her own identity. Her long hair that was meant to copy Alicia burns and she learns through Akira's blunt words that she should become her own individual.

Here’s the first of my sin cards! Hair cutting is seen as a sin in the bible (at least from my research) and I associate this act with the queer community a lot, many lgbtq+ people cut their hair as a source of gender europhoria, in transition and as an expression of identity.
