The reason your eyes REM, dart side to side when you dream is because you're searching for the missing stereo information from seeing with a single lens while your brain assumes you are still using two.

I'm often asked how I work out depth, light etc... While I enjoy the process of calculating these by eye, I also make perspective construction lines occasionally (bottom left). More recently I use "lens distortion" lines - (not on this older piece though - "Nimbus"). 💜🧡💛🤍
