next up is Frank Martin Jr. Martins colors are super unique and I think they deserve to be pointed out a whole lot more. He has a way of really selling a darker tone, usually working with a more muted palette with strong reds that compliment the tone of books like Venom perfectly

Using this panel for example, I find when I zoom out there isn't a clear distinction between the face and neck. And this is 'lighter' than some of the other dark skinned characters I've drawn. I'm already using reds and blues for shadows, so hmm.
