At first I thought it was that he was simply (there’s no ‘simple’ about it) recolouring his pages. But on closer inspection I noticed that he was pretty much redrawing everything, added more details and even reframed panels.
That’s a huge undertaking to recreate an entire book.

The original Klimt I studied was called Fulfillment (Lovers) and the reverse of the Arcana Vigilo card also has a reference to The Kiss
