i always thought the brown color on the top part of mayumi's armor is the shading from her head but it looks too excessive to be a shade, i kinda implemented the brown part to her armor in my recent stuff and honestly it adds a nice contrast to her saturated yellow theme

Yo, I cell-shade, I make 1 rough sketch, go straight into lineart-> flat colors ->shading and some post processing. I like balancing out the colors like I'd do with a photo and add some grain to finished pieces ^^
An image can take ~between 1 to 4 hours (for one character)

After my friend drew Mallow in a gorgeous magenta latex suit, I decided I had to draw him in it too, but when I went to shade, I used a purple that was too deep and it gave me an great idea. I've wanted to do some galaxy pants for a while, but galaxy LATEX is 👌.
