I have been occasionally drawing bunbuns for friends of mine from the vtubing community since 2020; I drew a few more this morning as they were commissioned to me by an old friend, and I thought I might as well share the full collection :D

When I wanted to try VTubing there was no VTube Studio, Facerig was Windows-only and I only had an old MacBook, plus I couldn’t afford spending thousands on something I’m not sure I’d keep doing.
But I wanted to do it anyway, so I made a rig myself with Adobe Character Animator.
I've met so many amazing friends thanks to vtubing. Because of my health, it's sometimes difficult to meet new people irl, but I never feel lonely anymore 💓

When I started vtubing, I didnt have a whole lot of money. Pic 1 was Pacemask V1, then V2, and was able to attract a following when my 3rd model came in, and then V4. At that point I didnt spend a dime on a VTubing model, still havent.

I remember when I got into vtubing in 2020 it was only because I had some disposable income then and the art I fell in love with was affordable for me. It was 650 bucks which is a lot for me now but I’m so grateful I was able to start two years ago!(Thread)
