Finally got a chance to read Marauders and... I enjoyed it. Tempo is getting a nice showing, turning people to dust and moving things a FTL speeds. This writer knows that Bishop's powers is energy absorption and not guns, so that's good.

A lot of ppl figured Jean's old school green dress was a statement, but it's nice to get on-panel confirmation that she uses her costumes as statements. Also hilariously petty. "This was the fit when i put you in the DIRT" 👏🏿😌 It's what Casserole deserves.

I had no doubt when Ewing mentioned in the interview that Stefano Caselli’s art is perfect for this book. I’m impressed by Caselli’s skill in capturing emotions, and in establishing space. It really feels like I’m THERE.

Some people complain that that much progress happened in X-Men Red but this page here was so, so important to me. I’ve been waiting for a moment like this. This is progress in character development to me. It’s growth. I love the way Ewing writes Magneto ❤️

X-Men Red is everything I wanted. Definitely the best Storm we've had, Max and Sunspot were amazing and I loved the Great Ring and the Arakko wouldbuilding.

X-Men: Red is such an incredible 1st issue, it adds further depth to Arakkii culture, has great character work, balances the story between characters so well, is filled with ewing’s nods to continuity, and has a really stunning final page that is THE moment.
