This is going way back to when I had just left college. It’s the cover artwork of a book of folk tales by Kathleen Hersom that I illustrated and which I haven’t seen for a very long time.
The book is called ‘Johnny Reed’s Cat.’

I'm really grateful for my ability to cook. I feel I can really express myself when I make a dish, and I love when people ask me to make them something~ (aside from cooked goose you sickos). I also am thankful for my sister, and all the help she has given me through college.

I often forget what it was like to learn to draw & I apologize if I get defensive about my work, I think instead I should offer how to’s, maybe do a patreon & be able to give lessons I learned from my days at Art College. I think it’s time to pay it forward, a new perspective.

OLD ART from 2017? I miss I how I used to draw. I have to keep reminding myself that I hadn't been consistently drawing since 2018 and that I had tons of free time in college. It's hard to feel like you "degraded" in a way, but I am working to feel fluid in my forms again.

This is Lumi. She's a Goblin alchemist I drew a lot in college.. She's bubbly and optimistic, with a dorky silly side to her, and the occasional snark.

I discovered about 4 years into drawing her she's just basically who I wanted to be. So I became her.

hey it's been a whole year since i bought an xp-pen tablet and switched from Sai to CSP! probably the best thing i've ever done for my art besides taking figure drawing classes in community college. this was my first serious attempt with the new tablet & software last year
