I actually love David harbour as Hellboy and the movie too. I feel like joel Harlow did his best for the film.

@ArchimedesPosts You drive a hard bargain.

This is based on a small inlet, near my studio, in Pembrokeshire. The river twists its way around a bend to the sea, sheltering the harbour behind. I often walk here when the tide's out, or swim when it's in.

Okay, so let me explain the thing with this little harbour.
This harbour is supposed to be the TVS version of the RWS Knapford Harbour in the books. This harbour is supposed to serve the junction on Thomas' Branch Line.
The thing that most people get confused is its name. (1/?)

Portrait of my Werewolf Tank, Eleanor, in both her forms!! I give her too little love lately. She and her best friend went head to head with Molag Bal and she did so with the gift of Hircine. A mighty prey!

Lots of questions and I wonder if it’s a shipwreck (morbid I know!). It’s the title ‘Harbour Crowd’ that made me think that. Painter Keith Henderson.

Nobody knows what the colossus looked like. But the popular image of him straddling the harbour with ships passing underneath is a medieval invention. The bronze statue could not have been built with its legs apart without collapsing under its own weight.
