A stanza from a poem I wrote about Poetry back in 2006:

Poetry, a language of the soul,
it’s words and rhythm, a symphony whole. With every line, it tells a tale,
of emotions and feelings, on a path so frail. - Digi ❤️

Please share your poetry too. Let’s fill the TL with it!

But of course, what would a period piece be, if not for the language? Despite taking place in 1920s Japan, the characters don't speak Japanese slang. This game walks the walk of the 20s, so when they localized it for the west, they made it talk the talk of 20s American slang

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.
The birth flower for 5 February is the Japanese Butterbur.
In the language of flowers, it means 'longing, charm, one truth, companion'.
A delicious taste of spring 💕.

Have a delicious weekend🌸

Those were the days-
Strahd von Zarovich and his little brother Sergei back in the days they both were alive. And a pinch of the dramatic foreSHADOWing, and a bunch of flower symbolism, because I'm currently lowkey obsessed with a flower language

Artbooks are fine & all but can we please get more guidebooks & fanbooks for series other than FMA, Spy x Family, MHA or OP Viz?
Ik they’re tedious to translate but I’d love to own these in a language I can actually read.

Axel Espinosa from my GN Heroes Circle is the poster boy for being a ‘space cadet’. But don’t be fooled, he is highly skilled and agile and ranks number one in class Gamma. English is his second language, so he speaks only when needed.

I am my own murderer and victim. I brutally murdered myself. Neither living nor dying is worse than pretending to be alive. There is no description of my pain in the language, words are not enough. Neither the world nor the hereafter means anything to me. I'm like a rag.
