Artwork of my OCs for painting assignment.
It's painting so no line art and I focus on minimizing the amount of layers.
The character designs were finished in quite a rush so there's not much thinking behind it other than to update the previous designs.

Experimenting with a smooth surface as I prepared a piece of art paper with an acrylic binder (to protect it against oil paint).

There are aspects I like, like how the brush strokes glide, but I don't like not being to add further oil layers.
