I definitely prefer the sibling rivalry angle as opposed to the scorned lover plot.
The story was vastly improved by getting rid of the part where Ozma only chooses to do the right thing in order to see his crazy ex-girlfriend again.
Kudos there.

Oh and I finally gave a face to a character for whom I didn't quite know how to make him look like. He's only a minor character in my actual short comic "Daigaku Kiss", but he's somewhat important to the plot.

Narancia’s death was shocking but it was never pointless. Diavolo killed him because Narancia could’ve used Aerosmith to track him which Diavolo knew since the Metallica arc. Araki didn’t do this for “shock factor”. It’s directly tied to the plot.
