Looking back on Pixar's scrapped film Newt, at times I do wonder wether or not it would've been better than Rio which had an identical plot. I do really like Rio, but it's curious to think how Newt would've turned out.

Fede Alvarez THE GIRL IN THE SPIDER'S WEB är tyvärr ingen höjdare. Som vanligt är han grymt visuellt skicklig och jag älskar hans råa/groteska drag, men intrigen är helt platt. Kärnvapen som man kan hacka från en laptop känns som en trött "jag vill vara hipp som kidsen"-plot.

Scans say that Daru is a doting dad, has not sacrificed his love for the 2D world despite having a 3D wife, and while he typically goes by "DaSH" (Daru the Super Hacker), he's recently been using the name "Titor" for reasons unknown.

He is absolutely pivotal to the game's plot.

Mary and the Witch's Flower: doesn’t have the magic of a Miyazaki but of course that’s an unfair yardstick to use. Stunning visuals, slightly fragmented plot. I enjoyed it as did my kids. Look forward to more from Studio Ponoc. 7.5/10

my biggest issue was the storytelling, the story's scale is way too big to be squeezed into 1:25hr so the characters literally tell you the plot.

but all in all the good still vastly outweighs the bad. This is such a cool love letter to the batman universe!
