I might regret showing him here... but one of my latest OCs is this little guy called Cyder.

Was going for a character that could shift between bipedal and four-legged, so that explains the floating limbs approach.

And a potential design for the main character of Shifter School, Jason who is a huli jing, a fox spirit/werefox shapeshifter. Still not the finalized design, it's always hard for me to design a main character I want to keep redrawing. 🦊

Nagual comes from the Mesoamerican word that often is used to mean shapeshifter. Werejaguars are very common in Mesoamerican lore. This one just so happens to need glasses.

Selkies are a different type of shapeshifter, they shed their seal skin to take on human form. The seal skin of part of their body and if they lose it won't be able to turn back into a seal. It's technique seen with other shifters around the world like the berserkers.

Oh I remembered one more DnD doodle! I never finished a full picture, but I briefly got to play a opossum shifter and that was fun.

So, Between my 3 forms/variants which one do y'all like the best?? I adore all 3 and will keep them around but at least one of the nice perks of being a Dragon Lord is the shape shifting (Totally didn't forget to post this earlier...)

In "The Hobbit," Bilbo references were-worms living in the Last Desert. Some Tolkien fans have interpreted "were" to mean snakes with human intelligence (as not all Middle Earth werewolves are shape-shifters), but others imagine snakes or dragons that become human.
