An I made for my twitch channel.
The final display have a 320px wide limitation,
so I had to limit myself on the details,
which was challenging but forced me to focus on the composition instead.

Painting titled Endurance after the ship of Shakleton’s fateful arctic expedition. Sparse composition and cold colours evoke the classic image of the mast protruding resolutely from the ice as ship is slowly engulfed. Despite the tragedy all 27 of the crew survived.

progression is jan->april->july->oct and i draw a bit less/doodle more but got much better at making compositions and im extremely happy about it

Someone should let the Bang Dream artists know that adding incessant detail to art doesn't make it better it makes it a visual fucking mess and leads to terrible framing and composition.

I think I’ve kept it pretty consistent now. Also these are such huge outlier pictures lol I don’t do nearly as many cool group composition shots and with good fucking reason not to.

In my earlier pages, I was desperate for space. I was used to having enormous paintings with tens of thousands of pixels, and I felt confined by my own panels. You can see it in how tight my gutters are.
As I gained confidence in my compositions, I let my pages breathe more.
