When I submitted my concepts I lobbied strongly for the violet for the background montages but Lucasfilm wanted a lighter background. This means that the final painting is very from the final poster

I had a thought after seeing all the circus stuff in HB’s background. Blitzo probably went by his full name back then ie the “o” wasn’t silent. Kinda like how a clown would have a name like Bozo or Pogo. When he left, he probably decided to drop the “o” to be taken seriously.

I think Runaan's horns look like leopard ears in some angle (especially when he is on the dark frame that his dark part horns blend into the background.)
