Yes! There are so many great soundtracks from the 60s and 70s. And, as you pointed out in your post, so many movies then had songs. I also collect sheet music and love the idea that these songs were arranged for various instruments. “Hey, kids! It’s family sing-along time.”

Great post! I share your soundtrack obsession and I have loads of OST CDs and LPs from movies I’ve never seen. French and Italian soundtracks are a particular focus. I’ll have to track down Joanna. It sounds interesting. Oh, and Rod McKuen sure was versatile.
