I don't know if it was entirely the cuteness or the fact it was a cool and unique concept, but it really inspired me overall. In 2015, I mostly focused on cell/soft-shading work, but when 2017 hit I focused primarily on painting.

Oh, my friend is a woman and artist I've loved and has inspired me for almost what? Like 16 years now! She makes lots of kinds of art, now focused on digital and embroidery but her traditional art (I reckon it's more drawings ) is super super beautiful!

I still got a long way to go on my journey but as someone trying to transfer into private art schools a scholarship would definitely help to get the ball rolling. Hope to one day be apart of TV animation to create more black body focused shows and media I didn’t have growing up
