Here's another character I created late last night, an (autumnal) Eladrin Druid whose wild shape is usually an adorable Australian Shepherd! Still practicing the Loomis method from and I was wondering if you know of any methods like this but for bodies?

Here you see some yarn dyed with a selection of natural dye stuffs. I selected these photos from articles about dying using period methods and dye stuff. Tho ammonia was used in some instances rather than urine as a mordant.
