Didn't get to do too much this year all things considered, but I feel like I progressed some none the less and learned some good lessons along the way!

I feel that 2021 wasn't a great year for me, I couldn't draw much besides work and I felt kind of stuck with my art. On the bright side I learned Blender and it was super fun and refreshing, so I'm sharing what I did this year on it! I hope next one will be better!

I think my art went places this year. A lot of experimenting and learning and some months were a bit unproductive. Not sure if I improved ALL too much though but I sure as hecc learned a trick or two.

Okay so mmm

Moving to Twitter (August ish?) really helped my art mindset as I realized I wasn't mentally confined by IG's square canvas anymore

Not a real summary but here are some pieces I learned the most from, enjoy :)

Thank you for the support & happy 2022!

Digital proof that I actually learned stuff this year

These pieces helped me learn more about perspective, lighting, and composition!
I am excited to put everything I've learned into action in future pieces and keep learning about design and also drawing many more environments!

Hi thank you so much for doing one omg 🥺 congratz on a your progress that you made this year.

The most important thing i learned this year is that art doesn't always need a lineart and that that's okay

Hi there, I'm JJ. 😉

This year I learned a lot about how light reflects (or doesn't) off different materials.

Would have to say these. I started digital painting in March of this year, so I’m pretty proud of how much I’ve learned using just procreate and an Ipad!

Much appreciated for the tag!

Here are my favorites from this year, got a lot of practice in in general over the past ~7 months

- Earth 1610 (Ultimate universe)
Messy 2.0. Learned from their OG counterparts. Broke up and got together too many times to count. Death didn’t keep them apart. Rode off into the sunset

I've learned a lot this year. And it seems to me that the quality of the drawings has become better. In general, I am pleased with myself. This year I did a good job😝🤭

Thanks for this!
Hi I’m Liz, I draw dnd/fantasy art. ✨

I’ve learned it’s ok to take things slow and go easier on yourself. It’s not always best to power through everything.
