Most fighting games have impact FX that look like small explosions (KOF, Tekken etc). But Capcom's impact FX tend to be bursts of light with very unusual shapes that will feel familiar to those with astigmatism!

testing out a hard style of shading; i notice a lot of artists with lineless styles tend to shade in a 'colored pencil' way and i want to try to emulate that a bit, but my way of drawing bodies is already so hard that it meshes a little weirdly. ill have to make some new brushes.

@luisvasqmusic Personal preference but reds are great for violence or passion or action. Greens are best for unsettling and menacing scenes. A few exceptions to that but a rule I tend to follow.

@carlosbehrens I'm a traditional artist. I use color erase, colored pencil, sharpies, occasionally paint and other items. I tend to digitally color in Gimp. You can find my work on here from time to time but most can be found on Facebook under the title Eccent Art.
