Fun fact for those unaware in the manga Kagome actually has blue eyes instead of the dark brown the anime has. This what she could've looked like if the anime also gave her blue. I kinda like her brown eyes more,guess cause I also have brown eyes. 😅 Both are pretty though.

Just finished the Popeye animatic.

It isn’t perfect, I think the biggest problem was just some blatant modern references here and there. But even then, it was few and far between.

As a whole, it’s truly Genndy’s love letter to the character and would’ve visually looked great.
