Nor did Henry - in-universe reason was that people kept mistaking him for Gordon, so he asked to be painted back to green. Out of universe reason - readers kept mistaking him for Gordon 😄

Personally I think it looks kinda nice when illustrated properly, as in the first image :)

Personally, I'm a fan of backgrounds like this one from Camp Lazlo. The variety of shapes, colors, and materials really make the visuals memorable

when doing short but thick fur, I typically approach it in a simplified form similar to triangular scales, and detail out from there. Using this sort of diamond shape I find personally allows me to shift them more organically along with utilizing soft or "lost" edges!

Burning Red Clouds

A color study I did using a screenshot from a music video. I'm not really used to using warm colors, and I used an angle which I didn't have a reference for, so it looks kinda weird. I don't personally like it very much, but hey, I'm learning.
