In my Halloween art last year, I gave my character (Hiro) a halberd with a segmented shaft (similar to Kyoko Sakura's spear in Madoka Magica). I thought it could use a redesign, to fit with the flower theme.

Something funny is that I keep drawing Marie and Soleil, but they don’t meet until ~4 books into a series, lmao

I love Soleil’s design, but I wonder if it’s a bit too… “spicy”, haha

Her story is really good, it’s been a big motivation to improve the earlier stories.
