I finished coloring the #lukanette sketches from earlier but idk man, this methods kinda time consuming
Was listening to an old documentary on Chuck Jones featuring the man himself, and I began to realize how much I've been subconsciously influenced by this man's work. So many of his methods of animation and storytelling have seeped into my own work and it's kinda cool.
Finally done this one~Drawing this with a new method was fun,tho still got a lot more to learn~

Idk why this works but this method to get base colors always makes things look so much cooler especially for red paintings.
I think the inversion makes sure the shading works on the red or something idk. layers are wack.
So I just learned the whole method I was taught to shoot competitively in archery over five years, was wrong according to USA Archery standards

So I wanted to do this challenge but I got stuck on #1. Actually, the first part of #1. Did a sketch manga style, decided to color it, then had to keep going. Oh well. Here's 2 styles of a wee lad Tarik with his bodyguard Zagger. 🥰 #madnessmethod #originalcharacters #sketchbook

Late night possible redesign. Might scrap it because of how difficult it is to build a head turn due to the hair. So many layers to sort and morph. Or I might scrap the smooth head turns and use a simpler method, but it wouldn't animate the same.
My method of dealing with my actual problems is to think about problems i can't actually do anything about. Ayy.
Also the first and second panel is just me bullshitting.
Jackson Pollock earned his nickname ‘Jack the Dripper’ by his unique method of painting: he splashed painting on a canvas, typical for his dynamic and unpredictable personality.
‘The Water Bull’ is now on display in Stedelijk BASE. Jackson Pollock was #BornOnThisDay in 1912.
Speed-painting isn’t just an effective warm-up method, but can also help one focus on what details should be highlighted and deliver a greater sense of movement.
