Another study from the same session as before! Darker skin tones are a bit more difficult but a lot of fun to paint. Dreadlocks and tight braids I especially find a lot of fun to paint and design :D

The only thing could think of is for them to add some texture to convey the braids better (but even that proved to be tedious for me to draw.) Nubia from the gross sisters had cornrows, they were simplified but they looked OK to me🤷‍♀️. But you right, I don't disagree.

it starts out correct, I think, but then you've got 2 strands running to the middle (marked red). for 4 strand braids you always need to keep track of the overs and unders. if a strand went over in the last crossing in the next crossing it goes under. hope this helps
