Not exactly what I planned to make today but I decided to take this opportunity and use the sketch to redo an old characters design of mine. She's been needing an upgrade since 2017/18 I think. I'm much happier with her now!

Sun and shade on a creek. The scratchy brush didn't quite work for the caustics in the water, I need to play around more with ways to suggest them I think.

This is an interesting idea!
I'll choose this piece, I think. It's one of my most popular paintings but I actually don't like it very much! I think I went way too dark in the dark areas which makes the neck fur look very fake, and I got very lazy with the background.

Hmm Tough one! But I like it! I didn't finish my current portfolio piece project, but here's an older one.
I wanted to create an underwater scene with some depth to it, but I think it turned out a bit sparse? Also the lighting on the mermaid is lacking I think.

Getting back into the groove of drawing again, I did a one hour doodle of my Decidueye, Lilly. Don't get to draw her much, and wanted to see what I could do in an hour from starting the clock from the sketch. Did not too bad I think. ^^
