@DamndestBastard @ManFirestorm @JoeGKushner @Trad_West_Art @tjbierschbach @Damienx247 @DaddyWarpig @cirsova @yum_dm @belet_seri @KenobiStig the story reminds me also of TIGER CAT by the same author, published in an earlier issue of WEIRD TALES
... and @soulnero185 sure does draw one heck of a handsome Toby and a beautiful Masako. I'm super excited for this issue because it's essentially three brand new characters that I get to tell the story of, and it establishes a *lot* more of the universe they reside in.
Slowly but surely I’m getting through the illustrations for my next #picturebook - nearly at the half way point.

Another triumph from @philearle - loved While the Storm Rages - brilliant adventure story for middle graders. Totally recommend to school librarians and kids everywhere. #mglit #kidslit It’s published next month.
Albrecht Dürer’s virtuosity as a designer and his skill as an artisan took woodcut-printing and engraving to new heights. He developed his craft in the German town of Nuremburg, at that time a centre for innovation in printing and book-publishing…
Most lovely sepia print after #ClaudeLorrain

Horace-Francois Sebastiani was Minister of Foreign Affairs in France from 1830 to 1832.

I really like this front page of Harper's Weekly (Sat, 8 May 1869). It was published during Mumler's trial in New York when he was charged with fraud.
