Fortunately there are animu conventions in Chile so we're more "visible".
@lizaledwards Animation suffers from the same issue. Artists have been pushing for years to create distinctive characters but Hollywood decisionmakers always force a retreat into a generic & conventional standard of beauty. Ex: Annette Marnat's concepts for WB's Storks and final result.
