I have a handful and it's because I can't stick to just one species. :') They're all the same person and they have pretty similar designs. I think of them as alt designs of the same person. (Or, in the case of fancharacters, it's another self-insert :') )

When we were little we had gibberish words for cat, like moosin, moosin-toosin, mootie, mooter-toot, etc & I still use them to this day. Since Sonic Universe had a cat and character that spoke nonsense, it was a perfect opportunity to insert my own gibberish into the comic 😁

I've been drawing since I was about 8-9 years old. Joza used to be a self-insert superhero, looked nothing like this, and Kirby was there. Although I've grown so much, I find it interesting to look back and realize that Joza would probably (still) enjoy Kirby's company.
