There were no references of the ancient Echidna race made by Sega. Which is why I assume you designed all of them to look just like Knuckles with some extra accessories and outfits added on.

Pretty ungrateful of Sonic considering Knuckles graciously accomodated all those Emerald Hill Refugees there. I'm sure Knuckles will have the last laugh once movie Sonic starts to cry about having no friends (cool hedgehogs suffer on the inside).
