This is a commission I painted last month. 11x17” and painted with gouache. I was tasked with drawing Vader and Luke’s faces merging and then I ran with that concept. Thinking I’ll make a limited run of prints from it.

This shit is so tame compared to the Dark Horse years (I miss their Star Wars runs), these folks should read Vader: Cry of Shadows, though then again if this is all it takes to traumatise them, Cry of Shadows might leave them institutionalised... 😅

This was Vader at his most inhuman, a merciless monster who slaughtered the enemies of the Empire without a second thought. Women. Children. Even those crippled in the war. Its a harrowing look into how far he had fallen, how truly evil he could be.
