Luigi's socks getting removed is indicative of a desire to be more consistent across series

I know this upset people, but imo it's a positive. The Mario & Luigi RPG series is supposed to happen within the same universe as the mainline games, and they altered the designs to match

I also love how Ariel has Potimas at one side and Shiro at the other. The visual is not about those first two, but they still look opposed, giving their backs to each other. If the rest were removed, it would be a nice picture of them to show both sides.
