I first went with geometric shapes that looked like wearable badges the winners of the tournament could be awarded. The inspiration came from Splatoon 2's golden toothpick. As it is a German Pokémon event, I also experimented with a Braviary, inspired by Germany's coat of arms.

After I found out that Towa has her own lab coat and everything, I made a second version of this design with her now. Towa and 21 are still working hard on a cure, so they hired a small helper to join forces in the laboratory. ^^.

my fave little minor detail abt skoll and hati is that skoll looks like a wolf with a winter coat and hati looks like a wolf with a summer coat and their aesthetics are completely swapped
