Northern Plains Crocadog: summer vs winter coats.
It gets *cold* in the far north. In spring, plains crocadogs roll and scratch against any hard surface they can find. The shed fur is collected and turned into blankets.

i make quite a few designs with this body type and have considered for a while to make them a species - little anthro creatures that have extra fat / fur (maybe like primordial pouch?) around the tummy / hips to resemble a skirt look.

Fur Studies

-current commission has some fur on the cloak and i wasnt entirely confident so i did these studies first.. Tried to see if I can paint different types of pelts as well. (around 3 hours)

just found last year's drawings with one of my fakemons 😳 and mega-form on the third!! They are very loyal and live deep in the snowy mountains. Also loves children and very brave. Their fur can warm in very severe frosts and people knit clothes from it! ❄️❄️❄️
