I think it is quite complex and subjective. It rather depends on a palette, execution but also varied subjects, reflections, and narratives to express.
Still, I call my art - obscure. And occasionally dark surrealism.

tho I ADORE how this art turned out, it ended up being scrapped bc it had 0% Maki, as I was trying to fuse the two designs. After going too far on Alastor's looks I pulled a 180 and just drew Maki with some of Alastor's features rather than the other way around.
