The underground has a completely different layout as well, comparing here to the final one. It's notably all accessible in one go, compared to final, where certain areas are only accessible by entering from certain parts of the overworld.

Really old spread but I still like it! When you're layouting an action comic the main thing is to direct the eye in a clean, consistent pattern so it's easy to follow. The dude is sneaking up from below so I put a lot of emphasis on that motion 👇
