#SkillNotTalent - 2013 vs. 2022
I always appreciate any compliment, including when people say I'm talented. Though I wish the skill and time behind the works created was acknowledged, instead of simply attributing it to "a gift".

I have made insane progress over the years, I never realized how much

I've learned how to perspective, sort of

The first one was how I did art when I was 13 and the second one is how I wished my art would look like when I was 13.

#SkillNotTalent 2007 - 2012 - 2016 - 2020
Seeing progress in my art, remembering where I was at the time of each one of them, the struggles, the rewarding feeling when the illustration went a direction I didn't expect. These things and more keep me coming back to making art!
My Number One Pick of the Week, for sure, is Monica Rambeau Photon #1 💫
This book looks appropriately stellar, Eve Ewing is such an under-appreciated talent, and this is so overdue for Monica. I really hope that everyone comes out to bat for this book. She deserves it
2014 vs 2022
Arrow is my favourite example for art progress pics because it took me 6 years before I started feeling satisfied with how I draw him :)

2010 | 2022
To everyone who looks at my art and says "I could never do that" trust me, you can. 2010 isn't even my earliest stuff, it's just when I got a tablet and started drawing seriously. It hurts to grow sometimes but, trust me, it's worth it.
