Hey artists! An easy way to NOT CHANGE A CHARACTERS BASE COLORS in fanart, is to color pick the original characters tone in their ref sheet. Most cartoons/anime/games most likely have a ref sheet for the character! Or color pick from a scene with normal lighting, or official art!
