Hi I'm KB, a freelance illustrator & character artist! I love drawing ( dark ) fantasy and putting the focus on intense atmospheres/moods. If I'm not drawing fantasy characters for you, I'm drawing my goofy little guys (like the one below!)

Not good at expressing or recognizing emotions but explodes after reaching a certain threshold to a degree ppl consider extreme
Autistic chars frequently coded as ESPers and aliens

My characters!! They are both students and Sam is in love with Jeanne (and who knows, maybe she's in it too...At least she likes being with him)

If it weren't for the limitation in characters, I would write more about them 😢

Matter of fact, the characters that you all made fun of have literally kicked ass before when needed to…it’s such a dumb complaint. The moment someone wants to establish peace, they’re labeled weak and stupid.

I became obsessed with eyelashes when there was this one Tumblr that was dedicated to giving Steve Universe characters eyelashes & it blew me away how adding A STICK to the eyes transforms the entire character. It’s just a little black line! Why does it work so well!?

Anyone else associate random music with characters?

I tend not to use songs that have lyrics, but anyway, this song, Esperanto, is the one I associate with my character Seren. If I had to describe the song with words, I'd call it solemn but hopeful. idk

Hey Josie!

My strength is illustrating characters with a vibrant color palette!

I feel like Discord's reforming arc is a great example that you don't need to give your villains the most generic sad backstory for them to have a redemption arc that works. Sometimes you have to foquest on how your characters feel about the current situation and not past ones
