I have no idea how I'm going to fur this and keep the nose visible. I'm also worries there isn't enough space between the top of the head and top of the mask and I'm not sure heather I should make a moving jaw at this point.

when doing short but thick fur, I typically approach it in a simplified form similar to triangular scales, and detail out from there. Using this sort of diamond shape I find personally allows me to shift them more organically along with utilizing soft or "lost" edges!

Another recent digital painting I did, I'm trying to step away from the colour picker and instead use a pre selected colour palette. I also wanted to push my fur rendering and I think I succeeded in levelling it up a little 🥰 who doesn't love a fluffy cat

This is Cubble, a baby bear Zokai. Its body is always wrapped up in a sheet of fur. This keeps it warm and protected, but its mobility is very low. It relies on a parent to look after it, but it can lash out with claws if it needs to.
