A while back, DC held a contest: use their script to draw a page for a Harley Quinn book and land a job illustrating the comic. Obviously, I didn't win, but it was good practice.... and in hindsight, I probably would have hated the pressure of working to a publisher's schedule.

After my heart attack scare, and with pressure mounting on other fronts in my life; I dreamt that I was a glass figure. Hollowed out and a vessel for a purple, carbonated pop. Any slight movement disturbed the liquid, drawing up bubbles. Over and over. And over again. 1/2

A quick illustration for 's The brush I was sent was a crayon-like brush that varied opacity and size with pressure. It made me think of a story book, so that's the style I went for using my OC Ryu!
