People forget how bleak and brutal the 1st Doctor era is tbh. There are a lot of stories where situations tend to be really intense, gritty and hopeless (the Savages' life being drained to sustain The Elders, The Massacre as a whole, etc). Definitely one of the most dour DW eras.
Read shinsekai yori (tl. From the new world) on tme's recommendation and holy heck story was wild. The plot twists were everywhere. Can't trust anything. Has themes on moral dilemmas (I like these kinda themes). Downside was the lewd scenes like why (but it's skippable so).

@GumShoeGoof @ScottGustin Actually, not the case! In Uprising, mint green was for Medical programs (i.e. Paige in her flashbacks), otherwise it had no specific role. In Evolution, however, this particular shade of green was associated with the ISO Bostrum Colony--where Gibson was from!
